“David White and Kate Brennan have created a timely look at the struggles today’s teens face to carve out their identity in a world that is both open to broader definitions of self and resistant to those of us who are different. At times funny and poignant, ALiEN8 reminds the most vulnerable among us that we are all outsiders looking to find our place… and that’s okay.” – Kathryn Miller Haines, author of The Girl is Trouble, The Girl is Murder, The Girl From Yesterday and the Rosie Winters mystery series
In the Fall of 2019, ALiEN8 had its world premiere as part of Drexel University’s Mandell Professionals in Residence Project. The project was made possible, in part, by the Samuel P. Mandell Foundation. The production was directed by Nick Anselmo.
